Apple 3G iPhones for sale new and used. Looks like The Apple iPhone may just be recession proof. Apple recently reported stronger than expected quarterly profits due to strong sales of its iPhones and iPods.

“I think in a better economy our sales certainly would have been higher but … we have just reported the best nonholiday quarter in Apple’s history despite the economy that we find ourselves in,” Chief Financial Officer Peter Oppenheimer told Reuters in a phone interview.
